A membership application for the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an application for a savings certificate from the Colonial Building & Loan Association (Ogden, Utah).

Includes “The Axtell Genealogy.”

Mostly incoming correspondence to Axtell. Also includes copies of some of Axtell’s outgoing correspondence, including a 1949 letter to Rep. Frank Barrett of the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as letters to family members acknowledging Axtell’s death in 1957.

A bill from the Casper, Wyoming, Water Department and typewritten lists of the following: “C.W. Axtell – 64 Acres” and “J.M. Shafer – 163 Acres.”

Stock certificates from the E.T. Williams Oil Company, The Dempsey Canal Company, The Williams-Luman Mining Company, the Montana-Wyoming Copper Company, the Lost Cabin Gold & Copper Company, the Robt. E. Cole Gold Company, the Thermopolis Sanitarium Company, the North Bunker Hill Mining Company, The Kirby Ditch Company, the Greater Wyoming Oil Company, the Wyoming-Yellowstone Oil Company, the Alliance Oil and Refining Company, the Wyoming-Dome Oil Company, the Grass Creek Oil and Gas Syndicate, the Wyoming Premier Oil Company, The Wind River Coal Company, and The Hot Springs Coal Company, as well as a certificate of redemption for property in Natrona County.

Includes receipts, checks, deposit slips, and a royalties list.

For Axtell’s funeral on July 20, 1957.
