Historical Note
Albert Justin Ohlson was born 16 October 1889 in Oslo, Norway. His family came to the United States in 1898 and he became a naturalized citizen. He worked with Thomas Edison in New Jersey and as a photographer, editor, and assistant director for Vitagraph and Paramount in New York. He married Elsie Scharnagel in 1912. In 1927, Ohlson moved to the West Coast and worked as a commercial artist for JOhn Powers Advertising Agency. He then became the art director for Contintnal Baking Co. and designed the Wonder Bread wrapper for them. In 1946, Ohlson moved to Salmon, Idaho and then to Estes Park, Colorado. He and his wife moved to Moscow in 1960 and then to Genesee. He died 20 March 1983 and was buried at the Crestview Masoleum in the Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens, Lewiston.
