Dan Leahy began teaching at The Evergreen State College in 1985. His focus was on Political Economy and Social Movements, teaching courses about public policy and labor studies. He helped found The Labor Education and Research Center as part of the Masters in Public Administration. He served as its director from 1987 – 1995. Leahy retired in 2009.
