Historical Note

A longtime resident of Tacoma, Washington, Eleanor Graham graduated from Stadium High School in 1938 and from the University of Puget Sound (previously the College of Puget Sound) in 1942. During her time at Puget Sound, she was a member of the Women's Athletic Association (WAA), where she acted as the ping pong and basketball manager. She also served as Circulation Manager for the campus newspaper, The Trail.

After graduation, Graham worked for the Washington State Employment Security Department as Chief of the Research and Statistics Division until her retirement in 1976.
