T. William Booth papers, circa 1936-2004

This accession is mostly comprised of research files that T. William Booth maintained while writing his books A Thriving Modernism : The Houses of Wendell Lovett and Arne Bystrom(Seattle : University of Washington Press, 2004), with Grant Hildebrand, and Carl F. Gould : A Life in Architecture and the Arts(Seattle : University of Washington Press, 1995), with William H. Wilson. Booth also authored various articles and speeches about Gould, many of which are represented here. These files include correspondence, manuscripts, clippings, facsimiles, recorded interviews with Wendell Lovett, photographs, architectural drawings, and some original materials related to Gould and the Oregon state capitol building competition.
