Content Description
A small collection of publications and ephemera gathered and donated by a long-term employee of Alaska Packers Association (APA), and relating to the history of the canning industry in Alaska. The collection comprises: Arthur W. Higgins, Inside An Alaskan Cannery (1972), two issues of Del Monte's Shield publication (1980), an Argo Red Salmon Cook Book (Alaska Packers Association, undated), California Packing Corporation Annual Reports (FY 1921 and FY1925), an issue of the Kodiak Fish Wrapper (April 1977) re: APA History and a 1961 pamphlet regarding the Alaska Packers Association.
