M.J. Shields & Company was a Moscow, ID wholesale house dealing in hardware, building materials, and farm and mill machinery in the 1880s and 1890s.
Content Description
The collection consists of fragmentary records of M.J. Shields & Company. Included is incoming correspondence, 1891; stock ledgers, 1891-1893; general ledgers, 1890, 1896-1897; inventory ledgers, 1889, 1890; sawmills account, 1890-1891; and a stock book of consignment goods from Frank Brothers Implement Co., 1887-1888.
