Historical Note

Patricia “Patty” Seibel was a United Air Lines stewardess from 1951-1952. She attended stewardess training school at the Cheyenne Training Center during the summer of 1951 and began her service in October in Los Angeles. In July 1952, she transferred to Denver where she ended her stewardess career on December 13, 1952. She was married shortly after to United pilot Anthony Romeo, whom she met when she was a stewardess. They remained in Denver until 1957, when he was transferred to Boston. They relocated to Chicago in 1960, where he became a captain. After his retirement in 1982, they returned to Denver.
