Biographical Note
From 1930-1942, Dorothy Frost was a public school teacher in Washington state where she used radio as an educational resource. She was director of a two-year research project on radio as a tool of adult education, sponsored by UW and others, 1948-50. She was a field consultant on problems of working mothers, minority workers, and child care for working mothers from 1950-1954. From 1954-1968 was worked with the American-Korean Foundation, New York headquarters. From 1958-1968 she was the Executive Director of the Foundation. From 1968-72 she was Vice President in charge of overall operations in Korea for the American-Korean Foundation, Korea office.
