Institute for Continued Learning at Willamette University records, 1986-2018

This series documents the history of the Institute for Continued Learning through founding documents, including the constitution, bylaws, and policies. It also contains financial records and documents pertaining to ICL's origins and links to the Elderhostel Institute Network. These files date between 1986 and 2017 with the bulk from 1992 to 2001.

The majority of the documents in this series were originally housed in binders organized by academic year. Materials consist of board meeting minutes, curriculum committee minutes, correspondence, programs, and activity information pertaining to each academic year from 1992 to 2014. This series also includes tape recordings of ICL Board Meetings.

The Institute for Continued Learning activities consist of lecture/discussion sessions and field trips that take place twice per week during the academic calendar of Willamette University. This series contains schedules for the ICL courses each semester. Documents are arranged in chronological order.

This series consists of the membership lists and information that ICL publishes annually. Member profiles are arranged in chronological order.

Photographs originally on CD-R or DVD-R have been transferred to the University Archives digital storage system. Photographs include ICL picnics, field trips, plays, presentations and presenters, the fifteenth and twentieth ICL anniversary slideshows, and a variety of members in other ICL activities. A scrapbook of ICL field trips, presented to Wes Robinson, is also included. Many of the analog photographs have been identified with names. Dates are included on some of the photographs. The majority of the photographs date 2000 to 2017, with some occurring between 1992 and 1999.
