Historical Note

The Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) at the University of Wyoming was founded in 1994 to address the complex challenges regarding the management of the rich natural resources of Wyoming and the Western United States. The SENR comprises five academic programs, each of which is concurrent with a primary major from any of the University of Wyoming's seven colleges, and two additional independent institutes, the Ruckelshaus Institute, established in 2004, and the Biodiversity Institute, founded in 2012.

This collection consists of board meeting reports from 1995 to 2016, strategic planning information, committee minutes, publicity material and pamphlets, Haub School annual reports, Institute for Environment and Natural Research (IENR) interviews, and various publications relating to environmental topics and concerns in Wyoming from 2000 to 2016. The collection also includes access to the department's archived websites.
