Records, 1835-1858.
Letters, reports, journals, some minutes of Missionary Society, N.Y., and the Oregon Mission, Willamette Valley, Oregon. Nathan Bangs and Charles Pitman were on the Board of Commissioners and the Corresponding Secretary of the Society, respectively. Jason Lee was the Mission's Superintendent. Correspondence January - June 1839 concerned the staffing of the Mission and includes primarily applications and recommendations. 1840 concerns a case against Elijah White. 1843-1844 includes the journal of H.K.W. Perkins.
