Biographical Note

Rupp and his law firm, Schweppe, Doolittle, Krug and Tausend, represented Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company for many years. He also served Pacific Northwest Bell as Vice President and General Counsel from 1962 until 1975. He served as president of the Seattle Bar Association from 1956 to 1957 and the Washington State Bar Association from 1966 to 1967. He was a member of the Seattle Transit Commission from 1957 to 1963. He served on numerous commissions, professional bodies and on boards of private clubs in Seattle.
