Registered Nurse, Catherine Anna Prideaux Holmes, graduated in 1932 from the Multnomah Training School for Nurses in Portland, Oregon.

Papers were donated by Catherine Prideaux Holmes' sister and Portland resident, Thora Petrequin. Thora Petrequin donated the materials to HC&A, having made a promise to Catherine that she would deposit these articles in the Archives after her death. Archivist, Karen Peterson received the materials on June 22, 2006.
