Historical Note
Randy Shaw was a falconer in Wyoming, beginning in the 1960s. He was one of the first federally licensed falconers in Wyoming. He also worked at the University of Wyoming’s Infrared Observatory for several years as the operations manager.
Content Description
Materials relating to falconry in Wyoming, including photos, licenses, legal documents, publications, records of flights, and documentation of the falcons. Collection also includes journals related to Shaw's interest in dog mushing and his work with the Episcopal Church in Wyoming.
