Biographical Note
In 1919 Blanche Brace was commissioned to write the history of the 308th Infantry. One of her writings was published in the Saturday Evening Post in November, 1920.

Miss Brace describes her experiences during World War I as a Y.M.C.A. employee. The adressee, MacAlarney, taught journalism at Columbia University.
