Historical Note
Sharon Lass Field is a Wyoming historian. She has over 40 years of experience in researching Wyoming towns and compiling the records of Wyoming communities. She is also a genealogist and taught courses for those seeking to uncover their family histories. In 2007, Field was honored as the Ruth Bishop Genealogy Volunteer of the Year by the Federation of Genealogy Societies.
Content Description
Collection contains an autographed copy of Field’s book titled Fort Fetterman’s Cemetery; and two indexes of records compiled by Field titled Index to Mortician’s Records, Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming, 1906-1950 and Index to Poll Records, Hillsdale, Laramie County, Wyoming, 1922.
