Content Description
The George Craig Papers on William Craig consists of articles from the Lewiston Tribune about Lieutenant Colonel William Craig by R.L. Holbrook. The articles are on William Craig's life in the Lapwai Valley, Idaho and are pasted into a bound volume with a brief introduction by Ceylon Kingston. Much of the articles are about Craig's relationship with the Nez Perce Indians.
Biographical Note
George E. Craig was a faculty member and administrator at Cheney State Normal School starting in 1913. His specialty was rural education.
