Two small volumes. The first includes entries from 1944 related to Major George Converse's travel, orders, experiences, and battle honors as an officer in the United States Army in the China-Burma-India theater during World War II. It also includes Converse's identification photgraph, dated 1944. The second is labeled "Record of events from 25 Oct. 1945" and includes brief, sporadic entries and information about Converse's orders and battle honors, mostly in China and the Pacific, 1945-1952. it also includes some genealogical information about the Converse and Winans families, photographs of Converse and his wife, Bernadine, and a reading list labeled "Henty List" (novels by G. A. Henty).
