0.15 linear feetThis collection consists of photographs and postcards belonging to Cecil Dryden, which were then donated to Eastern Washington University. The photographs consist of varying Indian tribes in the Pacific Northwest, including different members and practices used by these tribes from 1855 to 1970. The tribes range within the Pacific Northwest, such as the Upper Columbia, Walla Walla, Coeur D'Alene, Colville, Okanogan, Nez Perce, San Poil, Shahaptin, Spokane, Umatilla, and Yakima tribes. The postcards are of some of the members of the Nez Perce tribe in 1970 at a 4th of July celebration in 1970, and of Sam Tilden, another member of the Nez Perce tribe, nephew to Chief Joseph, standing in the full regalia of his tribe the Nez Perce in 1970.
