Historical Note

The Associated Students of the University of Wyoming (ASUW) was founded in 1913 and served as the university's student government. The governing body comprised three branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. The board consisted of students elected by their peers. The board included a president, a vice-president, and senators from each of the colleges.

Content Description

Records of the Associated Students at the University of Wyoming (ASUW), 1913-2000 documenting their activities and contributions to the University of Wyoming as its student governing body. The collection comprises of access to the archived website and materials relating to the operations of ASUW and its role in student governance, including minutes of meetings, newsclippings, photographs and other materials documenting teaching evaluations, design and construction of the Wyoming Union and Half Acre Gymnasium. The collection has been arranged alphabetically by topic.
