Content Description
This collection includes ephemera relating to labor unions in Seattle and the surrounding area. Collection materials include booklets documenting union constitutions and bylaws, pamphlets, brochures, flyers and event programs. A portion of the collection includes material on the Industrial Workers of the World with information on topics such as the Seattle General Strike and the Centralia Massacre of 1919.

Materials are arranged alphabetically by name of the featured union or organization. A folder with general labor materials not associated with a specific union is located at the front of the collection.
Acquisition Information
This collection was brought together by library staff from existing materials in vertical files as well as additional donations and purchases accumulated over time.

The library continues to add materials to this collection on a regular basis.
