Jim Ure Family scrapbook
This album primarilty shows the Ure family of James William Ure Jr (1871-1956), his wife Mable Ure (1882-1953), and thier children: Marian Pugmire (1909-2004) and James "Jim" William Ure III (1907-1989) and thier lives and travels. At the age of 2, Jim was one of 40 children in Ogden to be afflicted with polio, huge sections of the beginning of the album are focused on his treatment in Saint Louis. Jim Ure III later married Helen Bowring.
