Manoel Sobrel of Brazil and Won Yung Ahn of Korea, wood technology graduate assistants in the University of Idaho College of Forestry, Wildlife and Range Sciences, use the college's conditioning chambers to maintain constant moisture content in chipboard samples. Samples from the chamber are measured and weighed to determine changes in length, thickness and weight caused by the accumulation of moisture."
