Historical Note

Thomas “Tom” Wise worked in dude ranches from wrangling to management in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana during the 1960s-1980s. His experiences in dude ranching lead to an interest in the history of dude ranching and documenting the dude ranches of the American West.
