Historical Note

Dean L. May was a professor of history at the University of Utah. His studies and teaching and writing interests centered around the social history of the United States, the American West in particular. He authored books and essays on the history of the New Deal, on the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, on historical demography, and on the history of the American West.
