Content Description
Photographs depicting Puget Sound ships, Seattle's Golden Potlatch festival, and various locations throughout Washington and Alaska. Images of ships including steamers, gunboats, torpedo boat destroyers, and cruisers. Potlatch photos include a re-enactment of the arrival of the steamer ship Portland, the Pageant of Alaska parade, and street decorations in downtown Seattle and Pioneer Square. Collection also includes photos of downtown Seattle, Alki Beach, the Renton flood of 1911, Funter Bay, the Forestry Building from the Alaska-Yukon Pacific Exposition, the Maple Valley Railroad station, and Luna Park on the Duwamish Head.
