Biographical Note

Born in 1904, J. Arbon Christensen has spent most of his life in Cache Valley. He is a retired schoolteacher with an extensive interest in local history. In 1960 he desired to share this interest with the public. After receiving approval from Reed Bullen, the manager of radio station KVNU in the 1960s, Christensen began broadcasting short, 10-15 minute stories about Cache Valley and other historical subjects twice a day at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The program lasted for ten years until 1970.
