Historical Note
Jackson, a screenwriter, playwright and novelist, was born in Germany in 1902. He came to the United States in 1937, worked as a writer and later became a television producer.
Content Description
Collection contains mainly manuscripts of various writings including novels, screenplays and plays written between 1930 and 1982 (some are in German). There are also related correspondence, reviews and photographs including some related to "Studio One" and other television programs Jackson produced.
