Items include flyers, brochures, press releases, programs, and miscellaneous items for a variety of gay and lesbian organizations, mainly in the area of Portland, Oregon, with a small amount of information from Seattle. Included is an organizing manual for the group RATS (Radical Activist Truth Squad), which later merged with ACTUP/Portland. The organizations deal mainly with civil rights and AIDS issues, but also included is information on the Portland Gay Men's Chorus. Some information is included on the Oregon Citizens Alliance and Measure 9 from 1992, the anti-Gay amendment, as well as the Right to Privacy PAC and No on 9. See Mss 2988-3 for much more detailed information on Measure 9.
