- The Plant Operations Office was created in 1973 by the merger of Architecture and Engineering, Physical Plant General Services, Physical Plant Operations and Construction, and the University Architect. Herschel E. (Ellie) Dunlap served as Director of Physical Plant Operations and Construction and then of Plant Operations, while V. Randall (Randy) Turpin became Director of Plant Operations in 1976. This collection contains budgets, memoranda, and meeting minutes concerned with the alteration, repair, and maintenance of campus buildings.
