Historical Note

This collection is an assemblage of unattributed photographs of Portland, Oregon. The photos were acquired by Roger Wendlick without provenance information, but the images appear to be from the collection of a professional photographer. Each image includes prints, a glass plate negative, and an envelope with the original caption information and an inventory number from the photographer. Subject matter includes images of the 1904 Lewis and Clark Exposition (World's Fair), and general images of Portland streets and the waterfront taken between 1890 and 1925.
