- The Salt Lake and Utah Railroad Company records (1932) consist of a survey sketchbook of "all trolley between 7th South Salt Lake and Payson, including all side tracks and branches; showing necessary changes and listing materials needed for each mile in the event that Pantography system is used." The sketches were drawn by Harvard Olson, the railroad's sub station operator in Springville, Utah.

The Salt Lake and Utah Railroad was begun in 1914 as an electric line south from Salt Lake City to Provo, and was completed to Payson in 1916.
