Biographical Note
Edith Post (1877-1968) graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Northwestern University. She also attended the University of Washington. She taught English and German at Broadway High School for 30 years. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, an honorary association. She was also a member of the Washington State and National Retired Teachers Association. She was a past president of the Seattle High School Teachers League, a past president of the Public School Council, and a past president of the Seattle Education Auxiliary.
