1 sound cassette (30 min.)Scope and Content: Tape-recorded interview conducted by Dolores Goto, April 3, 1971.
Mr. Logue describes the growth of Ontario since 1940 and the influx of Japanese from Seattle and Portland during World War II relocation. He observed little anti-Japanese feeling in Ontario (nicknamed "Little Tokyo") although there was discrimination in neighboring communities. Mr. Logue discusses Japanese farm production for the war effort and how he arranged to have Japanese farmers released from relocation camps.
