Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Harry Morton Chambers (1888- ) was a registrar and instructor in economics at Washington State College circa 1920s-1940s. Additionally, Chambers was the WSU alumni secretary, the graduate manager, and the faculty adviser for the interfraternity council.

This collection consists of correspondence, research and lecture notes, bibliographies, syllabi, exams, and other papers relating to Harry Morton Chambers' work as an economics instructor at Washington State College. Chambers' courses consisted of "Economics 100 and 101: Economic Development of the Pacific Northwest," "Economics 1," "Economics 2," "Economics 47: The Economic Development of the Land Grant College," and "Economics 20 and 21: Fairchild, Furniss, and Buck Elementary Economics."
The correspondence in the collection includes inquiries from Chambers to individuals and organizations requesting materials, reports, and charts to be utilized in his courses.
The collection also includes Chambers' lecture notes and maps of the United States and the Pacific Northwest.
