- Manuscript roster or muster roll labeled "Number of men in Capt. Bennet's Company Organized May 2d, 1848." Lists name and rank for nearly fifty individuals; some entries include annotations related to command or orders. Includes a reference to "Fort Waters," a short-lived fort apparently established on the ruins on the Whitman mission during the Cayuse Indian wars of 1848. The roster lists the captain's name as G. W. Bennet.
