Content Description
Correspondence, invoices, labels, legal agreements, photos, ca. 1934-1945.
Selected business papers of Morris Muscatel & Sons, reflecting their activities in fish and food canning, particularly as salvagers of damaged canned goods. Includes a court case, 1941, over using strategic material for canning dog food and notice of bids on Narrows Bridge salvage. Fish reprocessing records have been weeded of invoices but correspondence kept mainly to give a flavor of the business, its nature and scope.
