Content Description

The papers of F. D. Heald date from 1905 to 1955, with most of them dating from 1928 to 1932. Series I is extensive and consists of a card file on plant diseases. Series II is comprised of copies of publications by F. D. Heald, as well as some of his unpublished work. Although Series III contains two more Heald papers, the bulk of it is the work of other men on pertinent subjects. Thus, this series serves as a reference file. The card file in Series I was not reorganized in any way; in Series II and III there was some reordering, and some material was shifted from one series to the other.
