The Cello Bag Company Inc. was founded in Seattle in 1949 by William A. Norstrom, Dale M. Bennett, and Joseph L. Proctor. The company initially produced unprinted cellophane bags. They soon discovered Saran Wrap though and began utilizing the material for bag making. Their products were used heavily in the candy business, especially in Washington State.
