Biographical Note

John Enoch Groberg (1872-1909) was born on April 2, 1876, in Weber County, Utah to John Peter Andersson and Johanna Larsdotter Groberg. He married Maud Elizabeth Brunt (1881-1908); together, the couple had three children: LeRoi Brunt Groberg (1903-1970), Delbert Valentine Groberg (1906-2004), and Maud Elizabeth Groberg Neeley (1908-1977). A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Groberg served in the Scandinavian Mission from 1897 to 1899. Groberg died on June 6, 1909, in Farwest, Weber County, Utah, and was buried in Idaho Falls, Bonneville County, Idaho.
