Content DescriptionReturn to Top

The photographs primarily comprise the life and times of L.J. Paul, (Virginia Kelson's father), from his graduation from college to his career in the army medical division. He travelled with the army throughout the United States and the Middle East, specifically Sultanabad, Iran. The photographs are mainly candid groups of relatives or friends of L.J. Paul or documenting places that L.J. Paul had been throughout his career. Some of the family portraits possibly include Virginia Kelson. All the photographs are the originals and all are in good condition although many of them have been trimmed to fit in a scrap book from which the photographs were originally retrieved. The photographs are primarily black and white in an extreme variety of sizes. There is also a collection of postcards and other manufactured photographs
