This collection consists of miscellaneous ephemera and correspondence related to the education and career of veterinarian Herman A. Trippeer. It includes a catalog (1907-1908) and other ephemera related to McKillip Veterinary College in Chicago, IL, proceedings of the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (1914), clippings of news articles about Trippeer, a biographical sketch by Lavon Koger, a 1946 issue of Agriculture Bulletin (OR), and a small amount of correspondence.

Dr. Herman A. Trippeer (1881-1965) grew up in Cove, Oregon. He attended Washington State College in 1905 and went on the McKillip Veterinary College in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated in 1907. Dr. Trippeer returned to Washington State and went on to work for the office of the State Veterinarian. He practiced for many years in the Walla Walla area, where he was buried in 1965.
