Historical NoteReturn to Top
Kreimer (b. 1893) served in the German Army during World War I training Red Cross and messenger dogs. He trained his first guide dog for the blind in 1916. Kreimer came to the United States as a guide dog trainer in 1929 and during World War II worked as a trainer for the U.S. Army.
