Typewritten, signed letter dated May 3, 1905, from Susan B. Anthony to Ida Agnes Baker, a women’s suffrage activist and teacher at the Washington State Normal School at Bellingham (now Western Washington University). Anthony applauds Baker for getting books on women’s suffrage added to local libraries. She reports on some of her activities in and around Rochester, New York, and writes that she hopes to see Baker at a suffrage meeting in Portland, Oregon, in June and July.
