Promotional and educational items of the Pendleton Woolen Mills from 1965 to 1967, assembled for and mailed to Mrs. Doris Wells of Rockford, Michigan. Contents include: letters from Home Economist (Mrs.) Emma L. Hogness; four issues of company pamphlet "Wool Ways" featuring wool care, pressing wool, blanket care, and buying clothes wisely; publications; "Wool Fiber in the Making: The Eight Steps in Woolen Manufacturing," with samples of raw wool, scoured wool, lanolin, dyed wool, roving, spun yarn, unfinished fabric, and finished fabric (1966); and the 4th edition of "the Wool Story...from fleece to fashion" (1966.)
