Journal of voyage aboard the Continental, bearing Asa S. Mercer and 100 women to Seattle. They left New York on 16 Jan 1866 and arrived in San Francisco 24 Apr 1866. Conant accompanied Mercer, on this second voyage, as a reporter for The New York Times.
This journal is the same as microfilm titled "The Cruise of the Continental, or, an inside view of a life on the ocean wave."
