Morris Hanan ran a successful fruit dealership in Pike Place Market. He was also active in Seattle's Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jewish communities in Seattle, and involved with Israel. He was associated with American Jewish Joint Distribution committee, congregation Ezra Bessaroth, and Seattle Sephardic Talmud Torah.

Hanan, a merchant-owner of the Pike Place Market, discusses his emigration from Rhodes, his business career, and the development of various organizations in the Seattle Sephardic community.
