Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Mary Lorille Horne Miller was born in 1925 to William Wallace and Mary Manson Home. She took on a myriad of projects including political campaigns, PTA projects and the Unitarian Church. She co-wrote and published The Unitarian Church in Utah, 1891-1991. She also fought hard to have the ERA ratified in Utah.

The Lorille Horne Miller papers contain correspondence, newsletters, meeting agendas, maps, and pamphlets related to the 1977 National Women's Conference in Houston, Texas. In addition, there are news clippings related to the activities and membership of the First Unitarian Church from 1938-1946. Documents pertaining to Planned Parenthood, the Unitarian Universalist history committee, and a Salt Lake County neighborhood council are also present.
