This collection contains miscellaneous manuscripts collected primarily as examples of Buddhist book formats. All are undated but probably date to the nineteenth or early twentieth century. Available are a palm leaf manuscript written in an unidentified South Asian script, bound in red and gold painted boards; one leaf from a Burmese kammavaca manuscript, written in Pali square script on a lacquered palm leaf or cloth; a parabaik from Myanmar (Burma) with folded sheets and red-stained edges and cover; a parabaik on thick black paper with text written in white, probably from Thailand; and two facsimiles of Tibetan or Nepalese loose-leaf books with wooden covers (pecha).
